CTI and Speech Development Lead

Job Description: As a Sr. Manager you will be responsible for managing a group of IVR VXML and speech self service developers located in the Chicago area. You will be responsible for the creation of all environments, standards, templates and methodologies to support the design, development and testing of self-service speech applications across multiple voice browser vendors and vertical markets within our Fortune 2000 clients. Responsibilities will also include code libraries, version control and management of an on call support group to diagnose problems with code written and maintained by the team. You will also be accountable for the quality and timeliness of self-service applications as well as the training and utilization of the development team.Required Skills/Experience: * Combined total experience of 7+ years with a history of development in IVR self-service, VXML architectures and speech applications.
* 3+ years of leadership/team management experience which should include a strong history of successful team creation in a centralized development farm.
* Experience with IVR application support teams.
* Experience should include integration with Genesys and Cisco CTI environments as well as major ACD and VoIP infrastructure.
* Travel of 30-50% may be required to client sites for discovery, requirements, testing and deployment.
* Bachelors degree
