Call Center / Technical Support Tech I

Innovative and rapidly growing online technology firm is seeking an experienced candidate to join our Technical Support  Team in Sarasota, FL.

 

Qualified candidates will have experience and knowledge of all Microsoft Operating Systems, Web Browsers, Internet Connectivity, Anti-Virus, Software Firewalls, Remote Desktop, Web Applications, and HTML.  In addition, candidate will have strong problem solving skills with excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

Answering phones to assist customers

Monitor email alerts and other automated detection applications

Document all calls, emails and other customer communications

Triage all calls to insure the proper resource is addressing the situation

Interacting directly with Technical Support Programmer Analysts

Interacting directly with Quality Assurance to assist in bug tracking

Understanding all product lines

Configuration of all product lines

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.

Technologies used: HTML, DOM, All Web Browsers, HTTP(s), Pocket PC, SOAP, XML and supporting Operating Systems.

Need to be detailed oriented, analytical and with strong verbal and documentation skills.

Must be a highly motivated self starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
