Cascade Specialist I

CASCADE Specialist I is responsible for the accurate, timely and consistent set up of projects in the CTMS. CSs will provide business support to all clinical trial management system?s (CTMS) users, and will provide ad hoc training of clinical systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:(Required)

.Bachelor?s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Life Science
.A minimum of two years experience working in database administration
with relational database environment
.Minimum of one year working with a clinical tracking system;
.Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:(Preferred)

.Clinical research experience
.Data tracking experience
.Experience with clinical trial management systems

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

.Excellent customer service skills, including quality troubleshooting and problem resolution
.Ability to function as a team player
.Strong communication and interpersonal skills
.Proficiency of all software used by the company including MS Excel,
.MS Word, Netscape Navigator
.Excellent computer, typing and data entry skills
.Proven ability to learn new software and systems
.Strong math, attention to detail and decision making skills
.Analytical skills
.Excellent written and oral communication skills with individuals at all levels within the company
.Ability to work independently and keep up with rapid changes in priorities; to work on multiple projects without loss of efficiency and move to new projects with relative ease
.Understanding of clinical research operational processes and clinical trials project management
.Ability to work on issues of a diverse and confidential nature
.Ability to tackle a variety of tasks daily
.Ability to learn new terminology and processes
.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively with the ability to prioritize
.Ability to effectively analyze project specific data/systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency; ability to draw data from multiple points and synthesize it into meaningful form
.Ability to work independently
