Catia Design Engineer / Administrator

Computer Aided Design Engineer to support transfers and translation of technical data for Honeywell Aerospace. Requires extensive interaction with customers, including project engineering, design integration, manufacturing, and analysis engineering to ensure all data transfer requirements are met. Requires individual to evaluate and review 3D models and detail drawings for data transfer, including translation when required. Applicants should be experienced in establishing and/or working in a cross functional team environment. Specific duties include: Review quality of incoming and outgoing data and correct as needed. A basic understanding of Honeywell's contractual and intellectual properties is warranted.

Strong technical, analytical, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Schedule management skills - manage tasks to meet schedule. Ability to perform translations between Design software. Familiar with design processes; machining, grinding, etc. Works with self direction, takes initiative, exercises sound judgment, discretion and capable of complex decision making in a dynamic work environment. Able to successfully work in and promote a team environment.
