Code MaintenanceDebug Programmer

Technical skills Needed:
? Working knowledge of Visual Basic6, SQL and SQL Server
? Working knowledge of VB.Net
? Good code documentation, error checking, and testing skills
? Experience with ASP.net and .Net remoting
? Experience with an object-oriented language, familiarity with object-oriented design principles
? Computer science degree or equivalent experience


Other skills desired:

? Willingness to learn new technologies and expand into additional company roles if/when needed.
? Ability to work in a tight-knit small team. Excellent communication skills.
? Ability to concentrate and produce high-quality, detail-oriented work in an informal atmosphere
? Prioritizes both good documentation and meeting deadlines - comfortable with a "big picture" view and accompanying level of responsibility.

Major Job Responsibilities
? Maintaining/enhancing/debugging current UPS Online Compatible Shipping software
? Work closely with testing team to streamline and improve testing process
? Create and maintain help files for technical support staff as well as retail software products
? Assisting with new project technical specifications
? Maintaining/updating current technical specifications
? Other responsibilities may be added as needed


Other job conditions
? 45 hour average work week required
? Work hours 9:00 to 6:00
? Employee team meetings two mornings per week at 8:20
