Sr Analyst Programmer - Cold Fusion

CIBER is currently interviewing Senior Web Application Developers to work as part of a technical team supporting a consumer health website serving public, corporate subscription and syndication audiences. This individual is responsible for designing and implementing web based applications and services and supporting the monitoring and maintenance of multiple web sites. This individual will also develop and maintain a comprehensive Content Management System used to create text, interactive components (surveys, polls, quizzes, etc.), multimedia (images, video, slide shows, etc.) and their associated display methodologies. Technical team members are responsible for supporting a variety of ancillary functions such as search, FTP protocols, site usage reporting, performance monitoring and third party content integration.

Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or closely related field is required. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Three to five years experience in web application development is preferred.

Experience working with Cold Fusion and ASP (Active Server Pages) is required.

Demonstrated technical competence in the following areas: SQL; JavaScript; HTML; XML/XSLT; TCP/IP networking protocols and security; NT and UNIX system tools and utilities; object oriented design and development; application development with Microsoft Windows systems.

Experience in data modeling and design on enterprise level DB such as Oracle, SQL or Sybase is required.

Experience working with SOAP and Action Script is preferred.

Requires excellent project management skills including demonstrated ability to work independently commit to and meet deadlines; take initiative; and exhibit excellent follow through on tasks.

Requires a thorough understanding of the Internet and strong experience in information systems architecture and development.

Should possess the ability to make quick and concise decisions.

Must have excellent communication and listening skills when interacting with colleagues and clients.
