Communications / Training Specialist

The Specialist will provide writing expertise and services by completing any or all of the following activities:

Create initial impact analysis using standardized tools and techniques to determine how the target audience is impacted.

Determine the resources, interventions, and tasks needed to successfully transition the change; for example, surveys, interviews, and stakeholder analysis.

Establish and monitor communication plans and assist in writing and editing communications

Build and reinforce organizational effectiveness.

Analyze the organization to identify inconsistencies and business problems related to people, structure, and processes.

Analyze and provide resolutions in report form.

Provide process facilitation to create action plans for approved recommendations.

Design, develop, and deliver workshops, presentations, and classes involving topics.

Training Development Skill

Provide Training Development support and services by completing any or all of the following:

Identify customer area learning needs

Analyze needs and tasks to determine education needs

Maintain, deliver, and/or present education

Coordinate product searches

Administer and coordinate schedules, enrollments, material distributions, and classroom setups

Provide guidance to area experts in the development of presentations

Coach instructors on strategies for improving education delivery

Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of education

Mentor and advise analysts during educational development opportunities

Communication Strategy Development Skill

Pprovide Communication Strategy Development expertise and services by completing any or all of the following activities:

Define and clarify client needs through assessments based on information obtained from project initiation

Help establish and oversee communication timeliness and plans

Provide communication-related guidance

Communication needs in the following areas as required: consultation, research, design, development, coordination, implementation,

review material created by others and provides feedback

Support publications and other tools which provide departmental information or direction

Initiate and design metrics or communication efforts

Develop strategic alliances and cultivate personal contacts with communicators and others
