Configuration Management Engineer

US&S is looking for a Configuration Management Engineer for our Pittsburgh, PA location.

?  This position will provide CM tool administration and Release Management support for internal and external customers.

?  Assist in the administration of Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest with associated Crystal Reports Design, Rose, and RequisitePro as they are utilized to control and manage a software development effort.

?  Work independently to troubleshoot software build issues

?  Ensure compliance with US&S and CM standards throughout the project lifecycle

?  Maintain CM tools automation mechanisms (scripts, hooks, triggers, etc.);

?  Automate and produce version control documents

?  Manage CM software build and release environment on assigned project(s).

Requirements:

?  Bachelor degree in a technical discipline

?  1+ years experience with configuration management in a software development environment

?  1+ years experience with the set-up and support of the Rational Suite, including programming interfaces and customizations through the API

?  Expertise in PERL and shell scripting in UNIX

?  Working knowledge of CVS and Telelogic DOORS
