Consortium Buying Consultant
Position Summary
The Consortium Buying Consultant is responsible for supporting Agentrics customers, and as needed, suppliers in preparing and conducting collaborative sourcing events. The Consortium Buying Consultant will be the principle point of contact for all collaborative sourcing events, and will be responsible for facilitating, driving and executing the sourcing process across several Agentrics customers. The Consortium Buying Consultant must be able to assess a situation, make a recommendation to customers surely and confidently.
Responsibilities:
? Manage sourcing process from Category Selection, RFI, RFP, and Negotiations through Contract Management for several customers within the same project.
? Assist in category selection process for collaborative sourcing events using proven methodologies.
? Rationalize specifications and aggregate spend across multiple organizations to accomplish one overall objective.
? Actively manage, promote, and prioritize consortium buying calendar.
? Lead consortium buying team by reviewing milestones, monitoring project deliverables, and ensuring timelines are met.
? Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers.
? Assist customers in implementation and utilization of sourcing strategies.
? Work closely with AGENTRICS members in the planning, scheduling, and closing of a sourcing collaborative sourcing event, with emphasis on process quality and customer satisfaction.
? Analyze results and provides savings report to all participating members.

? BS/BA in business or a related field from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Experience as a procurement professional within a corporate environment or similar field with minimum two years experience
? Strategic sourcing experience preferred
? Knowledge of Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management systems
? Solid understanding of the procurement process. Strategic sourcing experience preferred.
? Some knowledge of Web and/or database technology preferred.
