Contract - J2EE Developer

Job Description:
Excellent Financial Industry - Contract - Opportunity!!

The duration is 4-8 Weeks.

Main focus will be to enhance and maintain internal back office systems.

For this position, the developer would be a member of the application support technical team responsible for new system development, troubleshooting technical issues, performing break/fix type maintenance, monitoring and analyzing technical performance of the system platforms, and approved enhancements for these systems.

Strong technical and troubleshooting skills are required as well as attention to detail in order to perform tasks effectively.

Off hours production support of these systems may be necessary to monitor and fix production issues. This role requires good written and oral communication skills in addition to the technical skills.

Job Experience:
5+ years of experience with JAVA, J2EE.

3+ years experience with Web Services, XML, XSL, DTD

3+ years of experience with developing stored procedures in MS SQL Server or Oracle DBMS.

Some Experience with Macromedia Flash preferred, but not required.

Strong understanding of UML artifacts such as Class Diagrams, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, Deployment.

Understanding of a development process (SDLC) preferably RUP (Rational Unified Process.

Diagrams and Activity Diagrams a plus.

Real Estate Industry experiences a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive and positive attitude.
