Corporate Systems Data Analyst
This is a high-level analytical position reporting to the administrator while directly supervising the extraction of data from multiple IS applications, including but not limited to: clinical outcomes, productivity and benchmarking information, employee and patient satisfaction results as well as financial and coding data.? The Corporate Systems Data Analyst (CSDA) is responsible for the direct oversight and supervision of mainframe data retrieval and analysis of electronic data as required to support the mission of the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) department.
This position requires the use of organization, project management, process evaluation, independent judgment and decision-making. Work situations require a keen understanding of decision systems, finance systems, interfaces, healthcare clinical and financial operations, strong analytic/critical thinking skills, project management, fact-finding, problem solving, communication and leadership. This position requires the incumbent to work autonomously and coordinate all system extraction and analytical activities with the internal consultants of OE and department management while also providing support for information requests from other MHS departments.
Requirements:? Bachelor?s degree in business, healthcare, or computer science; Masters Degree in Business Administration preferred; Five years experience in developing, implementing, operating or maintaining financial or operational analytical information systems; Relevant healthcare experience may be substituted for education and IS experience.
