Credit & Collections Analyst for Ask.coms Accounting Group

Responsibilities


The analyst of credit and collections is responsible for processing and performing all credit related functions and ensure that Ask receives payment on all client receivables. The Analyst must establish and maintain effective work relationships with clients and internal departments through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.


Perform all credit related activities for orders pending approval. Including running commercial credit reports and credit application reviews.

Review open accounts for collection efforts and make decisions on pending orders, closing accounts, and extending additional credit to existing customers.

Contact clients by mail, email, and phone frequently to ensure timely payments.

Research and resolve billing disputes.

Work with management when accounts reach certain levels of delinquency to determine next step in collections efforts.

Enter data into Oracle Accounting software on a daily basis.

Other duties as necessary.

Additional Requirements:


Strong Excel, MS Word, and PC based accounting software skills

Understands the basic principals of accounting

Ability to use and understand mathematical concepts

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills


Experience & Education Requirements:


3 to 5 years of credit, collections and A/R experience

Completion of related college courses/program preferred

Experience with Oracle 11 A/R module strongly desired
