The Data Services Project Manager Position requires an ability to understand and manage the technical aspects of the database auditing process, working with vendor, technical and business leads to plan and implement database upgrades and changes, business process changes, and manage the overall project to meet regulatory deadlines. Major Management Responsibilities ? Develop and manage to project plans to ensure timely and complete delivery of requirements to meet regulatory requirements. ? Manage database upgrades, server migrations ? Manage vendor contract(s), ensure complete deliverables, implementation and validation of changes in FPL environment ? Manage Design/Development/Test/Implementation/Support of database components (tables, indices) in the production and pre-production environments. ? Manage Maintenance and support of databases including installation and testing of revisions, upgrades, patches for distributed databases. ? Manage installation and configuration of audit monitoring software, tools, utilities. ? Participating in application design and code reviews. ? Assist business group in adapting to best standards for writing database code, stored procedures, and accessing of table data. ? Develop and document process changes for securing database integrity and auditability.

Skills ? 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in a LARGE development and production environment. ? Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or MIS required. ? Experience with managing Database upgrades, migrations to new platforms ? Working knowledge of database architectures, especially as it relates to security, access, auditing ? Experienced team lead, working with cross-functional groups. ? Excellent oral and written communication skills required. ? Goal-oriented attitude, strong work ethic and demeanor to work through roadblocks, motivate external concerns and bring about resolution; ? Proven ability to work under pressure of time constraints and to prioritize assignments as necessary. ? Ability to plan, organize and coordinate a project. ? Ability to develop backup and recovery strategy. ? Ability to conduct scheduled backups. THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR AN ONGOING PROJECT. SARBANES OXLEY AUDITING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
