Summary:

  The Data Warehouse Analyst is responsible for the design, development and implementation of data load processes or systems necessary to load and refresh the   Settlement databases.

Essential Job Functions:

 Map source data elements to the business intelligence data modelsPerform data extraction from source systems using SagentDesign and implement data mining processesDesign and conduct test plansCreate and maintain metadataEstablish data loading processes for the initial table loads and recurring table refreshes using SagentDevelop or assist in the development of data mart solutionsDevelop technical designs based on functional specsDevelop web-based delivery mechanisms using SagentDevelop user interfaces in internet and client/server environments using appropriate software development methodologiesDocument data load system components 

Position Requirements:

 

? College Degree (preferred)

? 2 + Years of Experience

? Strong analytical and programming skills

? Experience with relational databases, case tools, data modeling and SQL

? Experience with Oracle and Oracle tools

? Object-oriented programming skills

? Data extraction experience

? Exposure to web development

? Understanding of data warehousing, relational databases and decision support tools such as OLAP, Data Mining and Metadata Management

? Experience in a client/server environment

? Experience with C++, Java, JDBC, web and application servers is a plus

? Experience with ETL tools is a plus

? Experience with object-oriented development

? Ability to grasp theory and create practical solutions

? Self motivated

? Experience with distributed systems and component middleware

? PC Skills

? Excellent communication skills both written and oral are required
