DBA/Programmer Analyst
Position Description (Role, responsibilities, expectations, deliverables)The System Build coordinator would be responsible for supporting application environments and DB2 database support for conversion validation.
Essential Skills Required (What skills are required to be considered)
At least one of the following sets of skills:
2 years experience with AIX similar Unix OS, and Unix shell scripting. On-call experience. Experience with commercial J2EE Application Servers (such as WebLogic or WAS).
Or
2 years DB2 UDB DBA experience, SQL, Experience with scripting (OS and SQL), On Call experience, AIX and Unix
Non-Essential Skills Desired (Team-oriented, managerial skills, etc.)
Solid analytical and problem solving skills and strong ability to work in a team/collaborative environment as well as independently. Experience with configuration Mgt tools (ClearCase, PVCS, CVS). 5 or more years DBA experience in any DB. Large Database experience, performance tuning, familiarity with J2EE application servers (Weblogic or WAS). Understand EARs, WARs, JARs deployments.
