RESPONSIBILITIES

The Data Cleansing and Migration Analyst role will be based in Houston and the successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in all stages of the process through successful go-live implementation.

 

The candidate will participate in the investigation of data quality (profiling) with active business involvement and will be responsible for conducting root cause analysis on data quality issues, the development of data mappings, cleansing rules and procedures to effect the data migration for data. It is essential the design and development of cleansing and migration processes are robust and repeatable so that they can be used in this and subsequent phases of the project.

 

The candidate will be expected to assist in the data analysis of the existing systems, quickly gain an understanding of the issues involved, the technical solutions to be deployed and quality and structure of the data to be cleansed and migrated. They will work with business users during the profiling, cleansing and migration of the data, providing support and advice as needed. The role requires active involvement in all aspects of the cleansing and migration process and thus the candidate must be prepared to engage in a wide range of activities on a project that has a high profile and is fast moving.

 

Responsibilities:

? Assist with the installation and technical configuration of chosen data cleansing toolset

? Perform detailed data analysis of the existing data sets

? Assist in the definition of a set of data quality standards for global reference data

? Define and establish a comprehensive set of data cleansing operations

? Define and establish a comprehensive set of data migration routines

? Define, configure and create quality scorecard reports
