To meet our client and employee needs, we are seeking an enthusiastic, results oriented individual to join our Information Technology Team as a SQL Data Analyst in Highlands Ranch.
Position Responsibilities:Supports assigned client account for all data, reporting, and custom software needs. Reports daily to ESM Operations Manager and Data Manager for account activity and status. Responds to Operations Manager immediately for requests of data, reports, or troubleshooting. Work with ESM New Operations Team to complete tasks on new projects or enhancements. Prepares detailed testing and other documentation, and coordinates implementation with ESM staff and clients, as needed; verifies and edits test data in new or existing systems to verify system/database model quality and integrity. Performs software installation and troubleshooting as it relates to reporting environment; participates in continuous process refinement and improvement. Participates/facilitates data requirements definition (e.g. extracts, sourcing, reporting) and design sessions; writes and maintains detailed technical documentation to record the architecture and development for system data projects. Trains company employees and customers on system usage; builds positive relationships with customers, and serving as an advocate for ESM, by providing ongoing support and technical expertise to users and departments regarding application, departmental processes, as it pertains to data. Follows all ESM prescribed policies, procedures, standards and methodologies for system development and those pertaining to ethics, security and privacy in information systems. Develops and maintains auditing processes to reporting environment performance and software functionality. Works with functional manager and integration peers to ensure interface environment standards are accurate, and that the technical environment is maintained and upgraded to ensure maximum effectiveness.
The successful candidate that will join our team will possess the following: Exceptional written and oral communications skills; effective in coordinating and facilitating meetings/conference call with multiple customers/vendors across time zones.Strong development and troubleshooting experience with SQL databases, DTS Packages, and Stored Procedures Experience managing import and export routines within SQL XML, and .NET experience Developing Crystal Reports 8.5 and above Working knowledge of data warehouse best practices Understanding and experience with Information Systems and data flow in and between main Call Center Information Applications and Client Information Applications. Knowledge of Call Center Industry and related Call Center Applications. Knowledge in the Education Industry a plus. The ability to establish effective working relationships with users, vendors, peers and management, and to develop successful plans of action with minimal direct supervision is essential Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and vendors. Ability to multitask, be self-directed and learn business context rapidly. Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a project team. Possess the desire to learn and accept new challenges. Has experience with process engineering, system design, requirements definition, testing, risk assessment and task management. Understanding of the software development life cycle. Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with project deadlines and ability to work well under pressure. Supports and promotes the values of ESM?s Initiatives.
