Data Manager/Analyst

The Data Manager/Analyst plays a strategic role in providing data management and data analysis consistent with project goals that can be integrated into our client's growth strategies.

1. Participates on project teams to assist with study design in the following areas:
a. Participates in project design for analytic implications.
b. Schedules data analysis and reporting activities with input from project team.
c. Supports project management staff to accomplish key deliverables.
d. Provides data analysis in the form of tables, listings, banners, summary data sets for each project as appropriate.
e. When requested, provides consultation/training to the team that is relevant to specific studies and conforms to the goals of the team.
f. Maintains continuous dialogue with Director, QA/RA to assure data management initiatives are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
g. Participates in identifying new products and services for our client.

2. Participates in all specifications for data entry, CAPI, coding and tabulation programs for purposes of pricing and budgeting.
a. Identifies, monitors and certifies appropriate external resources by keeping current on available suppliers and up-to-date service offerings.
b. Schedules work outsourced as well as in-house activities to accomplish key project deliverables.
c. Provides data management and analysis consultation to our client?s internal project teams, external vendors and external clients.
d. Improves, establishes and documents data management standards and processes, maintaining continuous dialogue with Director, QA/RA to assure data management initiatives are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
e. Maintains and enhances relationships with current and future market research data management vendors.
f. Consults with clients on data analysis needs as requested.
g. Provides proactive solutions to data analysis issues and concerns.
h. Consults with outside statisticians for advice on complex study design, randomization, non-standard statistical testing and advanced analysis.

3. Assists our client?s Management in evaluation and implementation of data management technology solutions.
a. Makes recommendations based on cost, client needs, revenue potential and ease of implementation.
b. Maintains/forms partnerships with external partners to increase service capabilities and conducts tests to assess performance and fit.

Required
? BS and at least 2 (two) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
? Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
? Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
? Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
? Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and raw valid conclusions.
? Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variable.
? Computer skills including data entry, word processing, and electronic mail.

? Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SPSS, SPSS Data Entry Builder.
