As a Data Modeler, you will:Participate in meetings with end users and technical staff to understand business needs or existing funcionality/regulatory rules and to develop Requirements Documentation (RD)Determine the modifications, if necessary, that will be required in the logical and physical data models for software productsMaintain the data dictionary (DD)Modify existing and/or develop new functional specifications for use by software developersCommunicate and clarify user requirements with the development staffAct as the liaison between a product development team, the Quality Assurance (QA) team, and clientsParticipate in analysis sessions with other members of the product development team to develop innovative approaches for expanding existing functionality to meet business requirementsConduct system testing of software products prior to their submission to the QA teamDevelop a variety of documents, such as on-line help, system administration manuals, etc., as required.

Qualifications:
BS/BA and two or more years of experience performing analytical tasksAbility to create process flow diagrams for current state, desired state and data mapping documents for system conversionsAbility to develop functional specifications and to modify existing onesExperience with formal project methods and systems analysis skills (exposure to design and modeling tools is preferred)Knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook, VisioStrong facilitation and interpersonal skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsFlexibility to travel up to 25% of the time. Candidates with demonstrated experience writing formal requirements documentation, some knowledge of Java and Microsoft technologies such as MS Access, Oracle, etc. and experience with implementing software product solutions for end users are strongly preferredYou'll receive great benefits, too--health and life insurance, 401K plan, medical savings account, vacation, personal days, and more.
