Data Warehouse/Crystal Reports Developer

 

 

The successful candidate will be part of the SkillSoft Business Intelligence team and will work with other SkillSoft departments (such as SkillSoft Financial Services and Sales groups), to analyze and integrate data from our various corporate applications and to develop and support the corporate data warehouse and enterprise reporting needs. 

 

Responsibilities include: Analyze, design and create Crystal Reports using version 10.Develop and maintain Crystal reports from data-marts or transactional applications.Develop and maintain data-marts and cubes for analytical reporting. Develop and maintain Webi UniversesDesign, Develop, and QA the data population of the PeopleSoft Data Warehouse from SkillSoft?s business  applications.Create and/or modify SQL Server stored procedures to be used by Crystal Reports.Involved in the gathering of business requirements, documentation, user training and final deployment.Contribute to the optimization of the reports, query?s, and prompts.Candidate must also have an ability to work well with others and reliably communicate requirements and status with other SkillSoft departments.

 

 Crystal reports 10 - Migrating to Xi3-6 years related experience, with strong analytical skills for technical problem solving.Ability to solve complex technical problems, assimilate information rapidly, and work under time constraintsStrong Microsoft SQL Server 2000 skills including database design, T-SQL, triggers, stored procedures, indexes and user defined functions.Implementation and monitoring of validation processes to ensure all data was moved correctly  Experience with Business Object desirable.Proficiency in SQL and scriptingExcellent problem solving, communication and organizational skills.Strong customer focus.BS degree, Computer Science or equivalent.
