SO/Community Intelligence -- Serves as member of the Information Technology Services team for a major center at a national intelligence organization; subcontract to CACI on CATS II Project.  Works independently and in teams to gather customer database requirements.  Creates, develops, implements and administers databases in a network enterprise environment, using Microsoft (MS) Access or Lotus Notes.  Also, provides 'help desk' support to Notes and MS Access database users, troubleshoots databases, resolves and assists users with access and functionality issues. Position may be filled at a grade higher upon review of skills and qualifications.  Position requires a current Full Scop Polygraph clearance.

The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years experience.  Six years of experience may be traded for degree requirement. 
Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication, troubleshooting and database software development skills using Lotus Notes and MS Access (1-3 years experience) are critical. 
 Ability to work independently, manage customers and balance workload in a rapidly changing environment also essential. 
Database administration and customer service and support experience  required.


Experience in the following areas is an asset:

Web development and systems integration experience, particularly in a national intelligence agency environment, is also a plus. 
Counterterrorism background or exposure helpful.
