OVERVIEW:

For this position, with a world-renowned computer hardware manufacturing company, you will be responsible for the daily administration of our production Oracle databases.

REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years experience as an Oracle DBA 8i or higher, including related utilities and tools
1+ years experience administering Oracle databases in an UNIX environment (HPUX preferred)
1+ year of SQL and PL/SQL experience
1+ year Korne / Bourne shell scripting experience
In-depth knowledge of the physical database design
Experience with Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
Solid understanding of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
Proficiency with Perl a plus
