Primary Responsibilities
SQL Server DBA/Developer responsible for developing stored procedures, triggers, views, etc.  This person must have a thorough understanding of schema design and be able to design, model, and create SQL Server databases.  In addition to database development skills, the candidate must perform administrative duties such as monitoring performance, troubleshooting errors, and ensuring the security and availability of the SQL Server environment.

Key Accountabilities (Specific functions as relate to job)
Required Skills
? Demonstrated experience (2-4 years) with SQL server administration and database support and deployment for .NET applications.
? Strong experience in database Backup, Restore and Recovery procedures
? Strong SQL programming skills including, developing testing T-SQL stored procedures queries.
? Experience in tuning and analyzing SQL Server databases for performance.
? Strong data Modeling Techniques for Logical and Physical Modeling techniques for Database design.
? Experience in managing users and security privileges.
? Promoting database objects through environments into production
? Database performance tuning, security, maintaining, and troubleshooting of jobs and server environment
? DTS package development experience
? Understanding business requirements and ability to transform those requirements into database schema design
? Good team player
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

? BS in Computer Science or related degree
? Minimum 2 ? 4 years as a SQL Server DBA or DB developer
? Thorough understanding of DB schema design
? Proficiency with E/R modeling
? Experience with DTS package development
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
? Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
? Preferred: incentive marketing experience; Reporting Services experience; advanced clustering & partitioning experience; ETL Support; Business Intelligence Support
