Database Engineer

Database Engineer ? Mariposa Software (a VCAT product) is part of a successful software development firm specializing in the Gaming Industry.  We are in need of a Database Engineer.  You will be working on our award winning enterprise CRM data warehouse solutions and applications.  Position includes developing enhancements to and maintaining existing client installations as well as adding technical knowledge and expertise to future development projects.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a distributed team environment is a must.  In addition you will be required to:  Code complex queries and program in T-SQL; Collaborate with application developers to ensure best fit data model for application requirements.  The following experience is preferred:  Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA); 5 years professional experience in the designing, implementing and maintaining of large scale database systems; proven professional experience in ETL procedures and specifically working with Microsoft DTS; Knowledge of Microsoft Analysis Services Business Intelligence technologies.  This position reports to the Database Engineering Manager and the VP of Software Engineering.  Position is located in Las Vegas and may require minimal travel.  VCAT offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefit package.
