Position Summary

Responsible for analysis, design, development and testing of new applications, reports and enhancements as well as some day-to-day maintenance and Tier III support. Must be able to define enhancement objectives, document the solution, code, and work with QA for final test. Primary responsibilities will be in the development of Oracle applications, Enterprise Data Warehousing tools, and systems integration utilizing IBM?s Process Server, with opportunities to work with Siebel, and J2EE.

Primary Responsibilities

? Development of new applications, jobs, and reports

? Enhancements to existing applications, jobs and reports

? Represent a project team from development perspective for Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.

? Ability to perform medium-high level analysis for new development of applications or reports

? Mentor other junior level developers in development techniques and best practices

? Ability to create detailed documentation that will be passed on to IT Operations to help support the new or enhanced application, job, or report

? Oversee other developers work and be part of peer review team

? Work with end business users to understand fully the business requirements

? Understand integration points to the many different systems as they relate to the position.

? Identifies data interfaces and ensures that they are integrated into project plans.

Job Requirements

Intermediate experience in the following:

3 to 7 + years of professional experience as a Programmer/Developer or Analyst.

B.A./B.S in MIS, CIS, Business Administration or a related field preferred.

Must show proven record of accomplishment of developed applications using required software tools along with showing ability to work independently on tasks and projects.

Should be able to analyze business requirements, create development requirements, document and create unit test plans for small to medium size projects.

Must be familiar with the SDLC for development

Familiarity with programming logic and methodologies recommended

Experience in development, enhancements, day-to-day maintenance, unit testing and systems integration testing for reports and system interfaces

Demonstrates solid working relationships with other developers, QA, the requirements team, and business lead. They can also represent the project team for responsible are within a Joint Application Development (JAD) session.
