Job Summary: 

Perform systems analysis, design, develop, test, and implement technology solutions employing diverse languages, platforms, and databases. Integrate multiple functionalities and applications into a system solution.  Utilize skill sets in the analysis, design, specifications and documentation, coding, debugging, testing, training, implementation and support of applications and systems as directed by the Director of Development  Modifications will be documented and reviewed by Director of Development. Work is performed and technical decisions made with some latitude for independent judgment, under general supervision with performance judged by results obtained.

 

Specific Functions:

?  Liaise effectively with business unit personnel to gather requirements for new functionality, effectively communicate with clients and team members on project needs and progress

?  Develop functional and technical specifications as integral aspects of a project execution plan

?  Develop and maintain applications using various programming and related technologies

?  Maintain a relevant understanding of new programming and development technologies

?  Document and support new and existing code

?  Address and resolve technical problems

Minimum Education and Work Experience:

?  BS in computer Science or related field required; MS in Computer Science or related field preferred

?  3+ years of comprehensive programming background with solid experience in the systems development life cycle focusing on interactive design and sales.  Programming experience must include 3 or more of the following:

?  Experience in developing windows client/server and web-based database applications with MS SQL Server and Oracle

?  Experience in writing and modifying stored procedures (SQL Server and Oracle).

?  Experience in HTML,  .NET, C##, ASP or Java,  XML or Web Services a plus

?  Skills in Delphi 6- SQL- Oracle- MS SQL Server Knowledge of Object-Oriented Principles- Knowledge of Web development (HTML, ASP, Javascript)

?  Experience with relational database design, Crystal reports, and SQL, as well as excellent programming skills using Delphi.

?  Object programming and component design experience is helpful.

 

Working Conditions:

?  Occasionally required to work beyond normal work hours.

?  Primarily indoors in climate controlled environment, subject to sitting, standing, walking, and/or using office equipment

?  Subject to frequent low-level noise of a keyboard, telephone and other office equipment.

?  Subject to exposure to light and glare from a CRT or monitor

?  Occasional travel required.

?  Periods of high stress.
