SUMMARY OF OVERALL POSITION

 

This position is responsible for providing externally-facing support of TT?s API products (e.g.X_TRADER API and FMDS API). Writing sample code Tests software functionality and participates in reproducing software issues, as necessary. This position will require a strong back ground and experience programming with C++ 6.0.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

-  Provide developer support for TT's API and FIX products (X_TRADER API and FMDS API).

-  Opens tickets for development clients while providing a high quality of support.

-  Presents XTAPI training classes to exterior XTAPI clients.

-  Develops internal support tools for TT?s internal use and for use by TT?s external clients.

-  Work with Project Manager to ensure that sample code is written in a timely manner

-  Clearly documents programming project plans and code changes.

-  Work closely with clients during alpha and beta phases product releases

-  Must have the ability to write code in a team environment

 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

-  Associates or Bachelors Degree in CS or related field or equivalent knowledge

 

SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- Ability to work in a team environment and work closely with others

- 2+ years of technical support preferred

- Must have at least one year of C++ 6.0, COM, ALT, MFC experience

- Knowledge of .NET programming languages a plus

- Exposure of Electronic Futures a plus

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- The ability to clearly communicate, both verbally and written.

- Strong organizational skills

- Works independently

- Also capable of working closely with team members

- Familiarity with API?s

- A working sample of C++ 6.0 code is a plus
