Developer in VB6 and .NET

BancVue, Ltd. develops and installs checking account management and customer profitability analysis software for financial institutions (banks and credit unions). 

 

We are seeking a brilliant, experienced programmer to join our development team.

 

A Candidate Must ?

> Be a world-class application developer fluent in .NET, VB6, and SQL

> Have at least basic experience working with web-based applications

> Have experience working with or implementing formal version-control procedures

> Have a willingness to understand both the technical and customer-facing aspect of the software

 

An Ideal Candidate Will?

> Have 2-5 years application coding with core banking systems, EFT, Internet Banking or ancillary software products which interface to Core systems. 

> Have software documentation experiences (note, this will not be a primary aspect of the position; however, the ability to do so if needed will be valuable).

>Have ability to set up quality assurance testing scenarios

 

Day-to-Day, the Job Entails?

> Developing new features to our existing software

> Correcting errors in the software

> Documenting new features in the software

> Assisting in the implementation of the a formal version control procedure
