Director, IT Applications

 

The IT Director will be responsible for directing both day-to-day tactical and longer term strategic objectives for the Des Moines Distributions Solutions team.  Key responsibilities will include leading a team of approximately 30 associates, program/project leadership, financial management and general HR responsibilities that come with leading an organization.  Some travel between Columbus, Ohio and Des Moines, Iowa will be required.

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

Experience with Java/J2EE technology, along with knowledge of legacy technology

Five plus years management experience

Superior communication and people skills with the ability to lead a team under tight budgets and deadlines

Demonstrated change leadership experience

Strong large-scale program leadership experience

Experience with property and casualty insurance systems preferred

PMP certification a plus
