Director of Business Development

Job Summary:

 

This individual will establish strategic business relationships and identify and implement new business opportunities for the D3P/ SEC business.  To work closely with the sales teams, systems analysts, business development team members and senior management.  To direct and manage a team of systems analyst in support of the sales efforts and solution fulfillment

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

? Research potential opportunities; Identify with the sales teams sources and structure of revenue targets and assist in negotiating and closing key deals

? Provide strategic counseling to the sales teams and become an integral part of the D3P (Designated Third Party) / SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) community

? Assume overall accountability for establishing and implementing an effective revenue target while aligning with budgeted resources and sales strategies

? Counsel, train and guide direct reports to drive tactical plans down through the organization in order to achieve sales and sales delivery goals

? Recruit, hire, set goals, monitor performance and discipline systems analysts and other direct reports

? Insure that the desired standards of consistency, fairness and honesty are adhered to in all personnel situations

? Work with Iron Mountain Legal, IPM Operations leadership, and IPM Sales Leadership to develop service level agreements, contracts and operational standards

? Extensive personal skills, including the ability to establish group goals, communicate professionally (both verbally and written)

? Ability to articulate strategy and direction, manage effective group dynamics, support sales efforts and motivate other individuals to achieve group goals

? Solid project management and organization skills as well as the ability to work independently; an attention to detail and extensive experience managing multiple projects

? A commitment to ongoing development of knowledge in the D3P / SEC community

? Significant computer skills including research tools
