Our client is a Fortune 500 Company looking for a Director of Development. This division is a 500 person software company focusing on a web-services based Investment Systems with Enterprise J2EE Software. This individual will manage the development and release of multiple products with quarterly maintanence releases. The Software is developed in J2EE on Linux and C++ on Windows/Solaris. The development staff consists of 15 developers on-site and 15 developers off-shore. This individual should have a hands-on understanding of J2EE Architecture and a strong tough management style. Development and Release dates are very tight and a strong manager is required. Previous experience in a commercial software company is required. This position requires a US Citizen.
