      COMPANY: Thirty year old, profitable storage software vendor ($100,000,000 in revenue) seeks technically degreed individuals to provide a variety of consulting services (pre-sales, post sales, implementation, operations support and training) focused on their software product.

 

JOB LOCATIONS:  Northern New Jersey

 

BUSINESS UNIT: Software Services/Professional Services

 

TITLE:  Senior Storage Consultant/Senior Software Engineer. Work directly with customers, primarily at customer locations either in the west or throughout the mid-Atlantic and New England states. 

 

COMPENSATION: Salary: $90K-$115K plus bonus ($25K - $35K) & outstanding benefits including 401K, 10 paid holidays and 16 personal days (including vacation)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be willing to travel 70% of the time (All expenses paid? food, lodging, and travel) MUST HAVE
Experience with one of the following: LANs, SANs, NAS, Clusters, 
Hands on expertise with two of the following: Novell, Windows &Unix
Able to work from office in home
Software: (two or more) MS SQL, Exchange, Sharepoint, Groupwise and Oracle
Experience dealing face to face with customers either in a Presales role, Post sales role, or as a consultant.

 NICE TO HAVE
Previous experience in a consulting or professional services organization
Enterprise tape backup experience in a production environment
Experience implementing or managing storage applications
Disaster Recovery planning or implementation
Networking: (LANs, SANs, NAS,) clusters,
Aptitude for technical problem solving (hardware & software)
Anxious to learn new technologies

 

EDUCATION: Computer Science, EE degree or an advanced degree in Math, Physics or

PhD/ABD in any physical science.
