I have a position open as a Middleware Engineer in Herndon, VA. The client is in the process of ramping up the deployment of WDI 3.2 in the zOS mainframe environment. Immediate needs feature bi-direction XML to EDI mapping and translation.

Interface with customers and vendors for problem resolution

I am actively pursuing additional contract staff to fill two positions within the Middleware/EDI Technical Support team at a national data center in northern Virginia. Candidates will be required to pass a thorough background investigation (BI) before being able to access classified systems. Candidates will be able to work on-site during which time the BI is being conducted.

" For Mid Level: Candidates for these positions should have at least 5 years experience supporting real-time EDI processing systems. Experience supporting WDI 3.2 is a must. DB2, CICS, and MQ Series skills are a plus.


Duties and Responsibilities:
" Assist with the conversion of existing SQL queries to new environment.

" DB2
" DIS
" MQ Series Skills
" EDI Processing is a MUST

3- 5 years relevant work experience for mid level, 1-3 years for Junior
Minimum MS degree or BS with additional experience or AS with additional experience

Additional Information: Traveling might be required
