Kforce Government Solutions is now searching for an ETL / Informatica Specialist.
The ETL Specialist for the continuing development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) shall develop ETL processes such as implementing source to target mappings, performance and tuning, automation and maintenance. They shall map data from business systems using the OLAP tools. They shall have a demonstrated competency using PowerCenter Version 7.0 or higher. Examples of tasks to be performed are:
* Assist with system level standards definition
* Assist with application level standards definition
* Assist with system level backups definition
* Develop user concepts for the application
* Develop mappings in accordance with Logical and physical data model
* Understand metadata and develop (feeding/triggering) interfaces
* Develop technical documentation
* Source to target mapping
* Map data from business systems using Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools
* Develop ETL processes for performance and tuning, automation and maintenance
* Develop test and going-live plans
* Provide level one EDW production support
Candidates shall have Informatica Powercenter Version 7.13, Experience with XML, Data Mapping, proficient tester, and has worked in a production BI environment. Ability to produce documentation such as requirements and/or design documents with little to no supervision. For example, take a sample design document and produce a new one.
