Earned Value Project Manager

  We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Professional Services team.

Responsible for managing customer engagements staffed by Primavera direct and/or Primavera direct and 3rd party staff. (includes all phases of the project). Leads the implementation team, manages customer expectations and is the main point of contact for the project team - including customer project manager and sponsor, internal Primavera resources and solution providers.

Provides proven conflict resolution skills. Requires industry and process knowledge as well as a thorough understanding of Primavera products. Ensures quality of services through regular status meetings and captures lessons learned. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining engagement issues log and reviewing weekly progress reports and expense reports prior to submission to the customer.

External focus on client satisfaction for all consulting services. Provide quarterly enhancement report to development and product mgt - prioritized with business cases. Responsible for expansion sale opportunities while engaged with the customer to drive additional billable revenue.

A related BA/BS degree plus a minimum of seven years experience as an implementation consultant, business analyst and/or project manager in an IT/IS environment required. Demonstrated technical aptitude, superior presentation & communication skills, developed problem-solving and analytical abilities, genuine desire to learn are essential. This position requires a blend of both functional and technical skills to succeed. Proven experience resolving issues related to the project as well as being the front person/ representative of a project is required. Strong technical knowledge, superior communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities essential. PMP certification preferred. Experience with Primavera project management software a plus. Experience in the Public Sector including Aerospace and Defense a plus. 60-70% travel required. Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities a must in this fast paced environment.  EOE: M/F/D/V
