Embedded Vision Software Lead Developer
Essential Job Functions:
This position is responsible for the design of real-time software applications and device drivers in support of our ongoing product developments and programs. Selected individual will lead a small group of embedded SW developers, program and integrate vision applications into various processor platforms, support system integration and testing of future vision systems, and assist in driving the group to achieve the mission of developing the world?s best embedded vision systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a BS degree is required, MS is a plus, and 5 years of prior software job related experience. Selected individual should have experience developing real-time embedded applications based upon other hardware systems. Candidate must possess experience in software programming (C/C++), developing and testing windows based applications to support product development, and programming in real-time operating systems. Programming vision algorithms exp is a plus. Must also be an independent leader, work well in a group, be well spoken and provide accurate and detailed documentation of designs. Prior experience leading a software group preferred. Due to requirements for US Government contractors, this position requires a US citizen or permanent resident.

Our ?Member of Technical Staff? positions will generally have job responsibilities dealing with solving complex problems, creating technical innovations, acting independently or with little supervision and serving as a liaison internally [with technical and business development staff] and externally [with clients, prospective clients and other interested parties]. Our Members of Technical Staff can also expect to have responsibilities or involvement in the areas of Leadership, Administration and Business Development as it relates to their particular business area. Chosen candidate must possess excellent communication [verbal, written and listening] and organizational skills, and be an experienced group speaker/presenter. Experience in managing projects and/or tasks strongly preferred.
