Engineering Intern

Description: Clearance: Interim Secret required. Must be able to acquire a Secret.

Functions:
Under the direction of technical staff, functions may include, but not be limited to the following:
Conduct and participate in the research, design, and development of system software, application software as well as enhance, modify and correct existing software.
Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
Plan, organize and devise approaches necessary to develop the information to complete the requests submitted.
Design and assemble electronic and computer systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electronic and computer engineering principles.
Conduct tests and evaluations of software, hardware and processes.
Create test plans and test reports according with standards.
Shall use the resources available not limited to personnel, internet, manuals, logs, whitepapers and software & hardware tools to collect information to answer the requests that are submitted.
Create project plans and reports according with standards.
Create software requirement document, software design document, and user manual where necessary.
Create and send the DCCI Dispatch during each normal working business day, while maintaining an email distribution list of subscribers.
Assist in maintaining the DCCI Catalog with links to the actual reports and an external DCCI Catalog with descriptions and an option to request a report.
