Engineering Project Manager

Summary:

 

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and tremendous leadership ability.  This individual will need to be a hands-on engineering project manager who is able to drive changes and can demonstrate a track record of delivering high quality projects on schedule and within budgetary constraints. The successful candidate will have the following skills:

 

Critical Skills:8+ years experience as a Project Manager in the engineering/software industry.Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree; MS is a plus.Ensures that project delivery is consistent with company and client requirements.Develop customer requirements, help in creating project proposals and responses to RFP?s.Identify and mitigate risks and offer solutions.Document all communications, status reports, requirements and designs.Communicate necessary information to team members, management and clients.Work with all areas of the company to ensure readiness for project delivery.Conduct meetings with the project team and drive the agenda and resolutions.Prepare and run project reviews and take action on improvements areas.Allocate resources effectively to maintain project level and company wide profit.Strong leadership skills and ability to interact with employees and management and foster cross-functional teamwork among all departments and company.Effective written, verbal, presentation and communication skills.Strong technical skills with an ability to quickly assimilate needs, ideas and concepts; highly skilled at multi-tasking in a rapidly paced environment with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.Knowledge of Supply Chain and ERP Systems (SAP or Oracle 11i) experience.Experience with B2B Standards.Experience developing use cases.Knowledge of RFID.
