Entry/Junior Multimedia Developer (with Codecs experience)

Our client is seeking an Entry/Junior level Embedded Software Engineer to utilize an advanced processor architecture to create efficient, high bandwidth, computational intensive multimedia algorithms. These algorithms will be part of a library package supporting applications which include wireless video, music and 3D multi-player gaming. Functionality, speed, size and power consumption are all key metrics of the software.

Skills/Experience:

Multimedia codec development

Experience coding SIMD assembly

Algorithm development

* Requires innovation and knowledge of C, C++ and assembly language.
* Requires knowledge of SIMD (single instruction multiple data) programming and experience with multimedia applications and codecs.
* Requires knowledge of embedded CPU's/DSP's and working knowledge of deeply pipelined processors.
* Experience with embedded software development and debug tools, performance analysis, simulators, emulators.

Additional Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communications. Ability to work in a team environment.

Education Requirements:

BSCS or BSEE required, MSCS or MSEE preferred
