Entry Level Software Engineer responsible for development and support of Thomson RIA's web-based and Windows-based tax compliance products. This candidate will be responsible for all aspects of software development including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and support.

 

The ideal candidate will present all or a majority of the following:
4-year college degree in Computer Science or a related field

0-3 years of experience developing commercial software
Evidence of significant project work in C++ during an excellent academic career

Strong problem solving, analysis, design, and testing skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Evidence of being innovative and self-motivated
Desire to work in a team environment across multiple departments

Desire to be involved with the latest commercial software development practices
Development experience utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio is valued but not required
