As a Solution Developer, your focus will be developing and testing mission critical enterprise solutions including web services, enterprise portals and mobile applications for global Fortune 500 companies. You will build management, technical and planning skills by participating in large projects. You will improve your abilities to think creatively, design solutions, and interact with customers. You will contribute to our vast repository of intellectual property as we employ the .NET platform to create a dramatically more personal, integrated computing experience.

 

General Description

 

As a Solution Development Lead, your focus will be on utilizing your deep technical knowledge, customer relationship skills, and management experience to drive development teams to help deliver solutions. Delivery responsibilities include:

 Interacting with customers to help them understand how Microsoft technologies can be applied to help them satisfy their needs and achieve their goalsWorking with other Avanade technologists to architect Microsoft technology-based solutions for our customers Leading small to medium-sized development teams through the full solution delivery lifecycle (design, development, testing, and deployment).Providing technical implementation of the most complex/difficult parts of solutions on medium to large projectsWorking in partnership with Avanade?s global network of over 30 delivery centers to gain the benefit of multi-site delivery where we can combine onshore and offshore options as appropriate.

 

In addition to delivery, you will be looked to provide leadership within Avanade.  This includes:

 Providing technology leadership and support inside of Avanade so others can be successful in delivering solutions to our customersBeing involved with our community of expert technologists to have a direct impact on our growth capabilities as an organizationMentoring of consultants to help them grow their own technical and professional capabilitiesContributing to our repository of intellectual property as we employ the .NET platform to create a dramatically more personal, integrated computing experience for customers

 

Minimum Requirements

 

You will have demonstrated expert knowledge and proficiency in the following technologies:.NET Framework ASP.NET and/or WinFormsC#/Visual Basic .NETTransact-SQL

 

You will have demonstrated expert knowledge and proficiency in at least one of the following development methodologies:MSFRUPTest-driven developmentAgile development

 

You will have demonstrated expert knowledge and proficiency in at least one of the following architecture principals:Object Oriented DesignComponent based developmentService Oriented ArchitectureEnterprise design patterns

 

2+ years technical lead experience in one or more of the following roles:Web Services DevelopmentData Access DevelopmentMobile Application DevelopmentSecurityApplication integrationTesting & DeploymentUser Interface Design

 

You will have: Superior verbal and written communication skillsProven experience in planning, delivering and maintaining Microsoft-based solutionsDemonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverablesDemonstrated the ability to understand a customer?s needs Developed technical requirements based on business imperativesA willingness to travel up to 100%Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where delivery and customer satisfaction are key metricsA superior work ethic; hard working and results driven to the logical end
