Employment Opportunity:

FPGA Design Engineer - Sunnyvale, CA

Responsible for design and development of complex FPGA involving 3rd party IP as well as your own designs.

Must be familiar with Xilinx FPGAs and development environment, Verilog RTL and ModelSim

Responsibilities: Develop or work within a defined FPGA architecture. Implement the design in Verilog RTL and integrate 3rd party IP with your own designs Synthesize and place and route the design targeting Xilinx FPGA technology Optimize design for speed, power consumption and resource utilizationCreate test benches and simulate designs Prototype and debug in hardware. Work with hardware and software engineers on design and development issues Document design/project details and results per corporate procedures

Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering 5+ years experience with complex, high-speed FPGA design and verification  Strong working knowledge of Verilog RTL design, synthesis (Synplicity or Xilinx ISE), design analysis tools (Modelsim), place and route and static timing analysis (Xilinx ISE) Board level hardware bring-up experience Experience working with lab test equipment Good verbal and written communication skills Must be a self starter who can work with minimal supervision in a team environment

Desirable:Experience in high-speed memory subsystems, including CAMs and DDR SDRAMs Experience with networking protocols and SPI4 or SerDes interfaces Experience with Vera or SystemVerilog Proficiency with achieving high resource utilization in Xilinx Virtex FPGA
