Fantastic Excel/VB Technology Analyst Needed

Vedior North America, a leading national and international placement firm, has a need for a Technology Analyst II at one of our National level clients in Seattle, WA.

 

You are responsible for developing and maintaining plans.  You will outline steps and timetables for developing, testing and installing applications. In this role, you will research and evaluate software and hardware to assist in programming or to use as program platforms. In addition, you will write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections.

 

You will provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs as well as train end users or technical support staff to use programs. This role will analyze, install, and test upgrades of externally developed application programs and then monitor performance of programs after implementation.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

4-6 years required in Excel macro programming

VBS

SQL

Oracle

Experience in building custom spreadsheets for data collection and ability to access Oracle databases for building reports.

 

Experience writing functional specifications is helpful.  Experience in a finance environment knowledge working in the business section of risk management or audit organization is helpful.

 

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
