Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer for IM Flash Technologies, you will provide technical support for internal IM Flash Technologies personal computer desktop and printing environments.  You will be tasked with personal computer staging, installation, connectivity, and maintenance and conducting computer system moves, becoming knowledgeable of area specific downloads, and department procedures.

 

Field Service Engineers will maintain a high level of customer service to a wide range of customers and will be expected to possess a high level of computer literacy including working knowledge of the Operating Systems.



Qualified candidates will have:


 


o Demonstrated a high level of communication skills (written and oral)
o Good computer hardware and software knowledge
o Experience with multiple versions of operating systems
o Strong spelling, grammar and writing skills as well as strong organizational skills
o Willingness to learn, to share knowledge, to work shifts (including nights), to work over-time when necessary, and the flexibility to attend and receive training
o Capability to show continuous improvement through actions that will improve the effectiveness of the organization and site
o Ability to get things done by influencing others 
o Capacity to take a goal, idea, strategy, or task and accomplish the end result via execution

o Experience in association with manufacturing equipment and automating processes is a plus
o Experience with multiple versions of operating systems and at least one industry standard programming or scripting language (Perl, VB, VBA, VB Script, C#, Python, WSH)
o Minimum 1-2 years previous Field Service, Desktop Support, or PC Technician experience with a history of excellence.


 


Required Education:
Degree in Computer related field or equivalent work experience in Computer Field Service Support. "A +", "Network +" and MCSE certifications are a plus.



**Training and position will be in Lehi, Utah.**
