Field Support Engineer/Product Specialist

Key Responsibilities

 

Implementation of new systems in the healthcare environment.

 

On site and remote troubleshooting and analysis of system problems and implementation of solutions.

 

Reporting of trends identified within the operational environments.

 

Pre-sales support efforts including analysis of customer needs and recommending technical solutions.

 

Provide continuing quality customer service and field support.

 

Assist solution center as required.

 

Assist QA Department as required.

 

Generate and maintain appropriate documentation on all operational procedures.

 

Travel opportunities throughout the United States.

 

Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Driven to succeed, with a "hands on" attitude, in a fast-paced dynamic company.

 

Bachelor's/Associate degree desirable.

 

Three years experience in field engineering operations with network applications.

 

Technical skills with Windows and Linux operating systems and networking infrastructure.

 

Experience of programming languages a plus.

 

Software, Hardware, and Networking, Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 

Clear and concise, written and verbal communiator.

 

Engineering certifications such as Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSE, etc.) a definite plus.

 

Team player, active listening, confidence, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and self motivated.

 

Willingness and ability to travel.

 

Technical experience in the healthcare environment is desired, but not necessary.
