Desired Candidate Characteristics

Software Consultant position working directly with customers to provide business needs analysis, project planning and implementation of FMS products/services. Works alone or occasionally with a team as the main point of contact for assigned customers and projects.  Key objectives are to manage project scope and timeframe, manage project issues and customer expectations, deliver on-time solution, and maintain/improve high customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

? Delivery of billable customer installation, configuration and training of custom applications and network environments

? Project planning and coordination of complex customer projects

? Providing pre-implementation assistance to Customers in planning hardware, software, and environmental requirements

? Training Customers in technical implementation issues

? Coordinate and guide resources as needed

? Supervise and develop team members in key knowledge & skill areas

 

Related Responsibilities and Duties

? Business & technical analysis of customer needs in order to win/increase Services business

? Presentation of recommendations to customers in support of sales

? Identification and documentation of new business opportunities and product/service req?s

? Achieving high customer satisfaction before, during and after the sales efforts

? Professional leader within the PS organization

? Provide analysis of market size, personnel and resource needs

 

Qualifications

? Strong knowledge of accounting principals and practices

? Knowledge of project management tools & techniques

? BS/BA degree and 5 years experience as a technical and/or sales consultant

? Two (2) years experience in business and/or technical analysis

? Ability to prepare & present clear business & technical analysis

? Ability to effectively communicate in verbal & written formats

? Ability to train consultants and support personnel

? Spanish language fluency is considered an asset

? Experience in software and financial companies is preferred

? Experience in database administration is preferred

? MCSE/MCDBA/Oracle certification desirable, but not required
