POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Pacific Advanced Civil Engineering is looking for a GIS Technician with motivation in learning skills related to Hydrology/Hydraulics, GIS cartography, and GIS analysis.?
?The successful candidate will be responsible for providing GIS support for engineering projects in the field of water resources.
?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and concepts, ArcGIS Desktop/Workstation.
ArcHydro, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-GeoHMS, Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, and AutoCAD a plus.
Technical cartographic skills.
NT operating systems, Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
Printers, plotters, and scanners
Education, Training and Experience:
A BA/BS degree in information systems, computer science or geography, including course work in GIS.
One to three years of work experience/internship
