GRAPHICS COMPUTER DESIGNER III

Job Description:


  COMPUTER GRAPHICS DESIGNER  AURORA, IL As a key member of the Midwest Graphics facility of the CROWN Aerosol Division, the Computer Graphic Designer will work very closely with Management and the other departments to supply digital file separations that will satisfy customers and printing facilities needs.  Specific duties include the following: - Pre-flighting incoming digital files - Creating file separations, doing trapping and color correcting as needed - Replenishing materials and minor equipment maintenance - Working with litho facility personnel to solve printing issues 

Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following: - College degree in a related discipline preferred - 2+ years related experience - Ability to interpret complicated layouts - Detail oriented, quality conscious - Knowledge of MacIntosh computers (PCs helpful) - Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, InDesign, Nexxus - Prioritizing skills necessary - Experience with conventional stripping. - Good written and oral communication skills - Knowledge of graphics, prepress and printing operations - Ability to work independently and with a team
