GUI Program Developer

Cogent Systems, Inc., a leading software developer for Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems, has immediate openings for an experienced GUI program developer with the following qualifications:

 

* 5+ years software development experience using C and C++;

* 2+ years image or photo processing related user interface design and development experience;

* 1+ years client-server system integration experience;

* Familiar with Microsoft Windows development environment and tools such as Visual Studio 6.0 and Visual Studio .Net;

* C# Windows Form experience is a plus;

* Web based and Java development experience is a plus;

* DBMS related experience is a plus

* Excellent ability in understanding large volume of source code required

* Team player;

* Excellent communication skills;

* Able and willing to work under pressure;

* Able and willing to work extra hours if necessary;

* Able and willing to travel for system installation and customer support.

* Must have M.S. or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related fields;

* Must have legal status to work in U.S.;

* Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.

* Must be able to obtain security clearance from customers/government agencies.
