Basic Job Description

Security Content Development (75%)
? Develops tests and documents new security content to mitigate newly discovered or high-threat vulnerabilities in supported platforms.
? Works with Quality Assurance to own and correct any defects in HIPS-related Security Content.
Security Research & Analysis (25%)
? Works with Security Research to understand security vulnerabilities and work to enable proactive protection in McAfee HIPS products.
? Research the relevance and severity of vulnerabilities to all supported windows platforms.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skill set:
? 2-3 Years of development in C / C++ environment
? Strong debugging skills (windbg, softice)
? Experience in multi threading code development
? Track record of excellent code quality

Favorable skills

? Research oriented & self-motivating
? Interest in growing in the field of information security
? Ability to read and understand assembly code
? Familiarity with firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems
? Knowledge of network fundamentals
?

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

Bachelor of Computer science is preferred, relevant security research background
